Cute post! LOL I started doing laundry for myself when I was 12 - I guess this is what happens when your parents divorce, unfortunately. I have always had 2 laundry baskets and I sort colors from whites as I undress each night. When I started working after college, I added a third basket for "delicates/work clothes". As of now, I do all laundry on Sunday. Sunday is MY sacred day for piddling around the house, doing laundry and trying to relax. I try to schedule nothing during this day. I think having 1 laundry day helps ease the anxiety of watching clothes pile up. However, I think I will probably have to add a 2nd laundry day when we have kiddos. It sounds like your method is working for you, though. :-) (Please note: my Husband is not on board with all these things that he likes to refer to as "rules". He's getting there though)

see, I have a completely different system for Dumpling's laundry. Because she stains everything, I am much more regimented in dealing with her clothes, and I do her laundry myself. As for mine, seing as I only wear pink and brown and everything is cotton, I've only ever needed the one pile!!!!
