That last sentence, 'about 16 days until I meet my daughter'....had me in tears. Good luck with all the hectic blah stuff, which in reality is just hectic Blah stuff. What an intense and moving time: 16 days!!! This is better than any series finale!! Keep us posted and sending you peaceful *nothing breaks* moving vibes and wishing you heaps of luck and success!!!

OMGosh! Only 16 days!! So close! And, since you have SO MUCH to do with the house and all, there won't really be time to sit and think about how 'slow' the time can go! LOL .. Keep yourself busy (as I know you will) and before you know it, you will have 2 HOURS left before you meet your daughter!!!

congratulations on all of your wonderful news. i have a question, and i do not mean for it to be combative, maybe i missed this topic earlier, but do you speak the language that your daughter has been thus far raised with? i have just been wondering...

jenn, the short answer is: no! I speak French, Englsih, German, Spanish, some Russian and some hebrew. my daughter has probably been raised using Mandarin, but seing as she is only 14 months old, she should be able to catch up pretty fast. I did get some cue cards and a CD to help me speak a few words and understand if she says anything (which is doubtful at that age)
