I think this is a "secret" that more women then you would think share. I know I can relate personally- not for the same reasons, but b/c of a medication I take. It really stinks. I hope your dr. has a magic pill!! (and if she offers you one let me know what it is please!)

I can relate as well. IVF takes away your sex life as well. I can't remember the last time I wanted "it". I feel bad for my husband.

I'm right there with you, Virginia, Jenn, and Jodi. Some of my heart medication puts a damper on my libido. You're not alone!

You know, after dealing with infertility for 5 years ... I can say I too am right there with you. Its been well over a year since my last IVF, and no medications and the like, and my libido is still not on track .. I feel bad for my hubby .. but we're trying to work on it ... sigh. so no, you are so not alone.

I see no line, sweetie! Heck, if we can talk about bikini waxes gone awry, this isn't taboo. And I wish you didn't have to feel guilty about it since it's not something under your control. I'm glad you did some altruistic-lovin'. That's always a good plan. But it's also okay to be pissed at your inlaws for being less than enthusiastic.

Hell yes, it's an important issue, and if men can have cheesy grinning infomercials about it, we should be able to talk about it whereever we want. Good for you, that you got proactive about it. And I'd be pissed too. Hell, I AM pissed at your in-laws. They ought to be delirious with joy! What's wrong with them?
