Hey, we're in the same boat. My good friend just gave birth Sunday night, also an emergency C-section. I actually went to visit her twice in the hospital. That's a first for me. Her daughter has Turner's Syndrome, but she's actually very healthy, considering. I think the fact that this pregnancy has been trauma-filled makes it easier for me to relate to her than if it had been a plain-'ol friend.
