Yeah, well, at least when you go everywhere else in the world you know what the temp's gonna be. Canada, Mexico, Europe ... so confused the entire time. Never ever knew, and freaked out every time I saw a high in the teens or twenties. Stupid U.S. with its "we can't have the same system as the REST of the world!" Bah!
Anyway, I hope you have a great, great, fabulous, terrific time. CAn't wait to hear about it!

Have a wonderful trip! Sounds like a great adventure. Well except the flight to Chile. :) And that wind chill is awful! It is 70F (21C) here today. Nice, even for SoCal this time of year. So I don't get go go on a cruise, but at least I can wear light clothes and sandals. That's something, right?

My husband and I are moving to B.C. from the US soon, and whenever I'm in Canada (or the rest of the world besides the US) I use the handy formula my dad taught me for converting C into F: double it and add thirty. It gets you to within a degree of the correct temp. If you're going the other way, just subtract 30 and divide by 2 (80 F minus 30 = 50 divided by 2 = 25 C).
